It’s October, and we’re painting the month pink! Beyond launching our vibrant Pink Parade Collection, we are committed to supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month in style and substance.

Did you know breast cancer is now the most common cancer among Kenyan women? According to NIC,  Each year, about 6,799 women in Kenya are diagnosed, and more than 3,000 lose their lives because most discover it too late. Early detection dramatically increases chances of survival, especially when caught before spreading.

Regular self-exams and screenings can catch cancer early, long before it can cause harm. Here’s why early detection rocks:

• 68% of Kenyan women are diagnosed at late stages based on a report done by the Kenya Society of Haematology and Oncology, let’s change that!

• Early stage breast cancer has survival rates upwards of 90%.

• Screening and regular self-checks can take less than 5 minutes a month and save your life.

How to Self-Check (and a Friendly Challenge!)

Self-checks are quick, easy, and you can do them at home all you need is a mirror, your hands, and a few minutes! Get familiar with your body so you can quickly notice any changes.
